Antique Swiss Schuetzen Rifle, ''Robert Fluckiger'' in lightly scrolled panel, ''Zurich'' to similar panel on left side of frame; #147, 7.5x55 cal., 34-1/2'' fluted octagon blue barrel, case hardened frame, lever, Swiss buttplate, and hardware; European walnut stock with high Swiss cheekpiece, right side of buttstock marked in German silver inlaid plaque ''U. Fpuhler/Zurich V''; double set triggers, windage adjustable front and elevation adjustable rear sight. Based on the Martini Peabody action. Condition is excellent showing very little use and is of exquisite workmanship. Case hardened components retain 65%+ original but lightly thinning finish. Stock shows light impressions and minor scuffs from field use. Action is crisp, bore is fine to excellent. Est.: $1,200-$1,800. (Antique)
